This week's question, in celebration of Father's Day:

Who is your favorite Dad character in any book, and why????

The first dads that popped into my head are Lola's dads, Andy and Nathan. They are so darn cool! They're super sweet and funny and they bake lots of pies.....
They're great parents who let Lola do her own thing, even if it's a little strange. 
My favorite quote of theirs was this:

“Nathan nods. "Have a good time. Don't do anything I wouldn't do." I hear Andy as I'm walking out the front door. "Honey, that threat doesn't work when you're gay.” 

Love them.

I'm also a big fan of Arthur Weasley because he just seems like he's a super cool dad! A little quirky, sure, but a heck of a lot more awesome than, say, Lucius Malfoy!

I also really really like Rose's dad, Ibrahim Mazur, AKA Smey. So he's not the most conventional, normal father, but he's still pretty darn cool, and he and Rose have a pretty good relationship. He acts all suave and sarcastic and tough, but he totally has a soft, protective side when it comes to Rose.
