Feature and Follow #5

Follow Friday is a really fun way to make new blogger friends and promote your blog in the process! This weekly meme is hosted byAlison Can Read and Parajunkee

Q: What started you blogging???

Well, sometime last year, I really hit a reading craze--as in, I would be reading ALL THE TIME. I don't really know what started it.... maybe the because all the YA fiction offered a great reprieve from the horrors of Sophomore year... and AP classes.
Whatever the reason, I started devouring books and I was going through them so fast that I thought a blog might be a good way for me to keep track of them. A way to document which books I'd read and what I thought of them.

AND, not gonna lie, but another incentive that really made me sit down and start an entire blog was because I wanted to write My Book Boyfriend posts and gush about literary boys I'm in love with.... That probably sounds really weird... but if I gushed to my friends, half the time they had no idea who I was talking about!

  1. I like how you're honest with that. I'd love to gush about swoon-worthy guys as well, though I'm rather shy, and as much as I love Will, he's obviously taken ;) so I shall just sit back and nod-along.

It is, though isn't it?! how blogging makes it so easy to keep track of what you've read, what you haven't, what's going to be released, etc. etc. We're all in like this exclusive world ^_~

  6. That's not weird at all, I am so much older and love to gush over the guys in these books and this is the only way I can without sounding stupid to my family.

Yeah, I started mine to keep track of books too (I think goodreads does a decent job of that now) and HAHA! Gushing about book boys? I have a couple of book nerdy friends, and we always used to gush about characters :D I'm really interested in reading one of your Book Boyfriend posts now :)

  14. My reading craze really kicked in when I was in 7th grade! And paranormal books were soooo hard to find back then! Yet now they're everywhere, so I am scurrying to make up for lost time! And yet I am still so very far behind on soooo many reads!

Thanks for visiting and following my blog! I follow you now too!

  16. Nice. :D Very honest. I hit a reading craze in kindegarten and I still haven't gotten over it, haha. I read way more YA now though, of course. And the whole fictional boyfriend too, of course (what? what was that? Of course Fred and George Weasely aren't fictional.) Haha. Anyways, awesome answers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Following you back!
