I know a lot of people on goodreads LOVE this book... but it just fell kinda flat for me, especially with regards to the characters.
The Fallen series by Lauren Kate
Ehhh.... What can I say? This book and I just didn't mesh. I practically had to force myself to finish book 1!
The Maze Runner series by James Dashner.
I made it through books 1 and 2... but I've been hesitant to read the 3rd because I was all for the Tomas-Teresa pairing... but after The Scorch Trials, it did not look good for them....I swear I'll finish this eventually though!
The Tiger Saga by Colleen Houck
I like this series, I do! But after book 2, I got preoccupied with other books and I never really went back to the series. And today I just found out that apparently book 4 is already out! Gosh, I'm going to need a catch-up week for this series soon!
The Clique series by Lisi Harrison
I started this back in middle school and as more books came out, I discovered better, more mature books to read and I just kinda forgot about this one.
The Private series by Kate Brian
This is the best guilty-pleasure read I've ever read, and I still like it, but at some point, the story-line got a bit too far-fetched (especially with the premise of Book of Spells!) I'll try to finish this soon though because they're actually quite addictive!
The Secrets of My Hollywood Life series by Jen Calonita
This was an OK read for me--it didn't exactly grip me so I eventually stopped keeping up with the series.
The Drake Chronicles by Alyxandra Harvey
This series is actually hilarious and I enjoy reading it, but I got so wrapped up in other books that I didn't keep up with the series after book 3. Must remedy that soon...
The Dark Divine series by Bree Despain
Meh. I didn't fall in love with the series after reading 1.5 books... and then me being me, got distracted by other new releases. Should I pick this one back up??
The Kissed by an Angel series by Elizabeth Chandler
I actually like the premise of this and really should finish it soon because apparently it gets quite good!

I almost put Fallen on my list as well. I have to say there are quite a few series that I just didn't get into either. Great list! Thanks for stopping by my page.

ReplyDeleteFallen is the most common book this week. xD I cannot say much as it's my guilty pleasure. Some of those series I won't even bother to start.

I also had a hard time with Fallen and the rest of the books. It has a place on my list this week. Significance, the maze runner and The dark divine sound great, so I'm sorry to hear you don't like them.

I couldn't get into Fallen so I'm with you there. I haven't read most of the other books though I am anxious to try The Maze Runner soon.
