Follow Friday is a really fun way to make new blogger friends and promote your blog in the process! This weekly meme is hosted byAlison Can Read and Parajunkee.
This week's question:
What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?
Tough question! I actually had to look through my goodreads lists to refresh my memory!
I'm going to have to go with the House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast and Significance by Shelly Crane.
The House of Night books are just waaaay too clichéd and the characters really annoy me....
Significance is one of those book where I feel like everyone on goodreads just LOVES, but I read it and I'm just like "meh."

What about you? Link me up and I'll be hopping later! :)
I managed to get through the first few House of Night books but then they just fell apart for me. Good choice ~ I think!

Brilliant Minds! I just couldn't make it past the third chapter of book 1 of House of Night. I haven't read any Shelly Crane, but I hear so many good things about her.

I've never been interested in reading the House of Night series because I've heard a lot of mixed things about it. It doesn't look like I'll be adding it to my TBR list any time soon, either.

Read the first one and can agree. Although I just didn't care for that series. No strong feelings of hate. Never heard of the second.

ReplyDeleteReturning the favour.
Hey thanks for the follow, returned the favor,
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first 4-5 books, but I eventually gave up on the series. Most of the side characters were kinda of annoying. Especially when the Twins constantly called each other "Twin" or how every other word out of Stevie Rae's mouth was either "boys" or "cowboy boots."
