YA Crush Tourney. OH THE HEARTBREAK.

So if you haven't heard, the YA Crush tourney hosted over at the YA Sisterhood just came to a close and.....
Adrian won.

It's nothing against Adrian--I love him too--but, honestly, that he would beat WILL HERONDALE...

SERIOUSLY. In the time it took me to take a shower, Will lost by about 30 votes. In. The. Last. Five. Minutes.
I WILL NEVER SHOWER AGAIN.

*Sigh* So much for trying to keep the crown in the Herondale family...

Well, Adrian, I grudgingly congratulate you.

But let's just be clear about one thing: next year, next year, that crown will be ending up on Will Herondale's pretty fictional head.

Will Herondale has a middle name... O_O

Will’s middle name is Owen. It was his mother’s maiden name. It’s a nod to his Welsh heritage, too, if you know who Owain Glyndŵr was.

Welsh was heavily suppressed by the English during the earlier Victorian era. Will’s family would probably only have spoken it at home. This would have annoyed his mother so giving her son a Welsh middle name would have been a minor act of rebellion. If you want to yell at Will in Welsh, his Welsh name is Gwilym Owain Herondale.

Jem doesn’t have a middle name. Not everyone did in the 1800’s anyway. He has a Chinese name if you really want a three-worder: Ke Jian Ming.

Did anyone else know about Dragon Day???

So recently, I joined Tumblr.....
And all I can say is thank goodness I don't have schoolwork anymore because I would never get anything done!
That aside, today, as I was tumblring Will Herondale (I can't help it!) I came to realize that today, July 8th, has now pretty much been dubbed "Dragon Day" because of a little fanfic written HERE.

Relationship status..... wait WHAT?!

So as I was tumblring aimlessly, I came across this....

and I was like this: "Holy fashizzle cakes!!! This is perfect for me!!!!" 
But then I took a moment and thought this: "But wait.... I didn't make this....."
And so I realized this: "WHAT?!?!?! Does this mean I have competition?!?!?!"

Thank you, Cassandra Clare, SO MUCH, for creating a character as fabulous as Will! I can honestly say that I like him even more than Jace! Whyyyyyyy can't he be real??????????
Will is...

• is very attractive--black-haired and tantalizingly blue-eyed-- and boy does he know it!
• muscular and strong--from all that shadowhunter training (incredibly adept with throwing knives...and hand-to-hand combat)
• super witty and sarcastic (I am a total sucker for guys like that!)
• comes across as cocky and arrogant, sometimes rude
• BUT is super self-sacrificing and really cares about the people he loves
• loves reading... and quoting books... (is that a deal-breaker or what?)

But, let me let the quotes speak for themselves....
